  I was expecting a lot from this place since they are toting 5 stars and a Zagat rating. The surroundings are fabulous as it's nestled in the midst of such a beautiful park. The decor was awesome too. Very cozy and interesting. The service was pretty outstanding as well (besides the fact that we waited almost 30 minutes to be seated when we had a reservation, but we had drinks at the bar. Good Bloody Mary's). The one thing it lacked was the food... which is why I gave a low rating.
  
  We ordered a few apps for the table. Hummus, olives, charcuterie and other sharable plates. They were pretty decent and we enjoyed them. We also got onion soup. Onion soup is one of my favorites and this completely fell flat. I was totally underwhelmed and a little sad about it.
  
  The entrees were ok. The eggplant fillet and short ribs got good reviews. The mix of sandwiches and burgers were just average. I had a fried chicken dish with roasted potatoes and everything was dry and lacking flavor. If this restaurant weren't SO expensive and SO full of itself, I would have been more ok with the quality of food I was served.
  
  I was expecting the food to match the beauty of the park...but next time I'll bring a sandwich for lunch and sit on a bench outside. I really wanted to love this place.

  While visiting Grounds for Sculpture, we ate at Rat's. This was a great place, the food and atmosphere were awesome. I rarely have French Cuisine but this left me wanting more.
